In the years 2004-2007 in our school we implemented the Socrates-Comenius project 'Trip into the 21st Century through myths, tales, legends and stories'. The project was financed by the European Union. Our school was the coordinator, there were also partners from Cyprus, Bulgaria and Lithuania.
The main aim was to broaden the knowledge on myths, tales, legends and stories from the local area, home country and Europe. It was also to establish their connections with teh modern world. The project participants created the catalogue of the most interesting and beautiful pieces, visited the places presented in myths, tales, legends and stories and checked what they look like now. They promoted intercultural education. They learned about the world of legends, myths, tales and stories in which there are positive values present, they found similarities between the partner countries, universal for the whole Europe. The most important element of the project was international cooperation. Our students and teachers had a chance to get to know the international partners, to work together on the project content and to get to know each other's cultures and countries. The project lasted 3 years, during which we organised visits at our school as well as partner schools.

„Wędrówka w XXI wiek poprzez mity, podania, baśnie i legendy”.
Projekt był finansowany ze środków Unii Europejskiej. Nasza szkoła była koordynatorem projektu, a partnerami były szkoły z Cypru, Bułgarii i Litwy.
Głównym celem projektu było poszerzenie wiedzy na temat mitów, podań, legend i baśni z najbliższej okolicy, kraju, Europy i określenie ich związków ze współczesnym, nowoczesnym światem. Uczestnicy projektu stworzyli katalog najciekawszych, najpiękniejszych utworów, odwiedzili miejsca z mitów, legend, baśni i podań, sprawdzili jak wyglądają one współcześnie, promowali przez wszystkie działania edukację interkulturową.
Poznali świat legend, podań, baśni i mitów, w którym królują wspólne, pozytywne wartości, określili specyfikę swoich krajów i cechy łączące, wspólne dla Europy.
Najważniejszym elementem projektu była międzynarodowa współpraca, podczas której nasi uczniowie, a także nauczyciele mieli możliwość poznania swoich partnerów, wspólnej pracy nad legendami i baśniami, poznania wzajemnie swoich kultur i krajów. W każdym z trzech lat projektu organizowaliśmy wizytę partnerów w naszej szkole, a także wyjeżdżaliśmy do szkół partnerskich.
